Ingredients

  • 8 Chopped onions
  • 4-8 Chopped chillies
  • 6 TBSP minced garlic
  • 6 TBSP minced Ginger
  • 12 TBS medium Curry Powder
  • 3 TBS Turmeric
  • 1 tbsp Garam masala
  • 4Kg Beef Short Rib
  • Salt to taste
  • +/- 10 Chopped Tomatoes
  • Water (+/- 2L)
  • Potatoes cut into quarters

Process

  1. Fry onions, chilies, garlic and minced ginger in oil for 10/15 mins.
  2. Add Curry Powder, Garam Marsala and Turmeric and cook for +/- 30 mins
  3. Add Salt stock, beef cubes, brown for +/-15 min.
  4. Simmer for 15 min.
  5. Add chopped tomatoes, simmer until soft.
  6. Add water
  7. Allow to simmer on low heat until meat is soft.
  8. Add Potatoes 10 P/2Kg meat.
  9. Garnish with fresh Coriander

  • 4TBS Curry powder/ 1Kg meat
  • 2tbs Turmeric/1Kg meat
  • 1tbs Garlic
  • 1 1/3 tbs mixed Ginger.
